Casey Crisman-Cox, Away Conference Director/VP

Casey is a senior at Penn State and a Schreyer Honors Scholar.  He studies political science with a focus on international relations, specifically interactions between states and non-state actors (terrorism, civil war, rebellions) and the effects of political partisanship on conflict . Casey is currently working on a thesis, with Professor David Carter, about the effect of political parties on intrastate conflict.

Outside of his school work, Casey enjoys Model UN and has been attending conferences since his freshman year of high school.  He also has a fondness for wines, the outdoors, and comedy movies.  He also has a problem with pretzels, they make him thirsty.

He is looking forward to Away Conferencing and knows PSIADA has a great year ahead.

Hortense Fong, Treasurer

Hortense Fong has never been more excited than she is for this year’s conference! Majoring in Math and Finance, her majors have little to do with international issues; however, she has come to love Model UN and is fascinated by the effects of globalization. She has studied abroad in Asia the last two summers and would love to tell you about her experiences there!

Now, fate has brought her to the exotic world of PSIADA where she has met some of the toughest individuals she has ever laid eyes on.
